Rann of Kutch, Gujarat

The only white salt desert of India or the Rann of Kutch is said to be the largest salt desert in the whole world. It is a white dead land which covers an area of 16 thousand square kilometres and is filled with white salts except during monsoons, when it gets filled with water. Gurudongmar Lake, North Sikkim

This is one of the highest lakes in India and is located in the northern part of the state of Sikkim. One can trek to reach this place by taking the road from Lachen via Thangu. Once reached, this place offers a breathtaking view of the mountains from all the sides. The lake is situated at a height of 5210 meters and the snow capped mountains around it, make it a surreal place.

Hampi, Karnataka

If one loves history and wants to re visit history then Hampi in Karnataka can be a erfect traveling destination for them. Once reached, one gets fascinated by the ruins of the ancient temples and forts then this is the right place for them. The serene ambience and the scenic beauty makes this place a must visit. This is a small village where one can spend a quiet holiday alone.

Sangla Valley, Himachal Pradesh

This place has many small towns at the foot hills of Himalayas in Himachal Pradesh. One must visit Chitkul, the last Indian village in the Indo-Tibet border. The beautiful landscape of Sangla valley and the serene bank of Baspa River (which is a tributary of River Sutlej) make this place a perfect abode for solo visit. One can also take a visit to Kinnaur valley from Lahul and Spiti here. But remember one thing. This place remains closed from December to march due to heavy snowfall.

Neil Island, Andaman

This is a perfect place for those who love to dive. The white sandy beach of this place is about 40 kilometres from the city of Prot Blair. This place also has some lovely banana plantations and lovely paddy fields. The tropical trees that grow here add more to the beauty of this place. There are lots of things to see under water here. One can go for sea dives and also for under water walks where one can get to touch the colourful fishes and of course corals. Do not miss the scuba experience here.
